WHAT IS THE ROLE OF A DRESS MAKER OR A TAILOR
The Dress Maker must be familiar with the human anatomy, in order to supervise the prototype production, guaranteeing the quality of the product. The main difference between the pattern maker and the dress maker is that the Dress Maker has the ability not only to create a pattern, but the skills to make and sew it.
The Dress Maker responsibilities: the dress maker is responsible of supervising the development of all garments related to a collection, also being able to make a last minute changes or intervention if it’s required by the stylist, improvising, maintaining the calm, being efficient, meticulous and precise while finishing the piece
